Day 1 Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Day at leisure.

Day 2 Delhi
Enjoy a guided tour of Old and New Delhi which includes a drive past the Red Fort, avisit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in Asia, and Raj Ghat, the simple but moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament buildings and the President’s residence. End with a visit to Qutub Minar, a masterpiece of perfect proportions. (B)
Day 3 Delhi – Mandawa (260 km)
Drive to the fabulous Shekhawati region, which is also known as the open air art gallery of Rajasthan. This afternoon enjoy a visit to the old havelis in Mandawa, famous for their paintings and frescoes. (B)

Day 4 Mandawa – Bikaner (188 km)
Today drive to the beautiful town of Bikaner, home to Junagarh Fort, built in the 15th century. Inside the fort is a profusion of 37 palaces, temples and pavilions. Following this, head to the local bazaars to seek out a bargain. (B)

Day 5 Bikaner – Jaisalmer (330 km)
Today drive to the desert city of Jaisalmer. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 6 Jaisalmer
This morning explore one of the largest forts in the world, the Jaisalmer Fort, built in 1156. Visit the Gadisagar Lake, a rainwater reservoir built in 1367, and the delightful Folklore Museum. Also visit the famous Nathwon and Patwon ki Havelis and end the day with a camel ride at sunset. (B)
Day 7 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (280 km)
Drive to Jodphur then enjoy a late afternoon guided tour which includes a visit to the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. (B)

Day 8 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (310 km)
Drive to Udaipur, visiting the beautiful Jain Temples at Ranakpur en-route. Built in light coloured marble, the temple is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. (B)

Day 9 Udaipur
Enjoy a half day excursion of the 11th century Nagda Temple and continue to Eklingji, a complex of 108 temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. This afternoon explore the treasures of Udaipur on a city tour which includes a visit to the City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari. (B)
Day 10 Udaipur – Jaipur, via Pushkar (480 km)
Drive to the royal city of Jaipur. (B)

Day 11 Jaipur
This morning take a tour to the Amber Fort, taking a photo-stop at the ‘Palace of the Winds’ en-route. Later enjoy a tour of the Pink City. Highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, followed by a visit to the Jantar Mantar Observatory. (B)
Day 12 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (250 km)
Drive to Agra, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful deserted capital of Emperor Akbar. Explore this historic city that was abandoned 14 years after it was built due to lack of water. Later enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays).

Day 13 Agra – Delhi (200 km)
Enjoy a guided tour of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort. Then proceed on a drive to Delhi. Your program ends with a transfer to Delhi airport or hotel this evening.
